PEXOLA contains Pramipexole, a non-ergot dopamine agonist with actions similar to those of bromocriptine. It is used similarly in Kenya in the management of Parkinson’s disease, either alone or as an adjunct to levodopa therapy to reduce ‘end-of-dose’ or ‘on-off’ fluctuations in response. Pramipexole is also used for the treatment of moderate to severe restless legs syndrome.
