Description
Somazina/Citicoline 1000mg in Kenya is a derivative of choline and cytidine that is involved in the biosynthesis of lecithin. Somazina is claimed to increase blood flow and oxygen consumption in the brain and has been given in the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders (including ischaemic stroke, parkinsonism, and head injury. It is given by intravenous or intramuscular injection in doses of up to 1 g daily or by mouth in divided doses of 200 to 600 mg daily or 1000mg daily.
