ALPHAGAN PURITE (Brimonidine tartrate 0.2%) EYE DROPS 5ML

Brimonidine is used to lower intra-ocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, as an alternative to, or as an adjunct to, topical beta blocker therapy. The reduction in intra-ocular pressure is maximal about 2 hours after topical application.

Alphagan Purite eye drops in Kenya is used as the tartrate. In the management of glaucoma or ocular hypertension a 0.15 or 0.2% solution is instilled two or three times daily.
