ZOLOFT contains Sertraline, a naphthaleneamine derivative, a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) with actions and uses similar to those of fluoxetine. It is given by mouth as sertraline hydrochloride as a single dose in the morning or evening for management or treatment of depression in Kenya. It can also be used in obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder
