- SCHERIPROCT contains Prednisolone caproate and cinchocaine hydrochloride. It is used to provide short-term relief (5 to 7 days) from the symptoms of anal itching and piles (haemorrhoids).
- Scheriproct suppositories are more suitable for treating internal piles. Scheriproct ointment can be applied to the anal area to relieve external piles and can also be inserted into the back passage using the applicator to relieve internal piles. Apply in a thin layer twice daily. In order to obtain a rapid improvement, Scheriproct ointment may be applied three to four times on the first day. The nozzle provided facilitates intra-rectal application.
Long-term usage of this drug should be avoided as may cause anal inner lining thinning.Use for a maximum of 7 days, and if symptoms persist seek further guidance from a doctor
